  1. Indicate portrait- and landscape-only options

    FEATURE REQ: if certain options apply only in portrait-mode, please give an indication/label of this. Similarly so for landscape-only features. Example, “Scientific functions” OFF/ON only applies to portrait-mode. v3.5.22

  2. RPN

    Add a Reverse Polish Notation option and you’ll have a nice calculator. (for everyone reading this, RPN is a real thing, NOT a dumb joke.)

  3. Division improvements

    1. It would be nice to isolate operations with a horizontal line that separates the numerator and denominator, like the n/d function on TI and Casio calcs

    2. The division symbol feels more mathematical with a rising slash( / ) instead of a horizontal line with dots, which is really an arithmetic symbol, not a math symbol, and just confuses people; see YouTube viral video of 6 ÷ 2 (1+3)

    For a solution, simply use the forward slash, or even better, also allow a n/d function with numerator and denominator, to simplify dimensional analysis for physics and chemistry

    CALC allows to use the rising slash (/) instead of the division symbol via two options:
    1.) tap and hold the division button to create 1/x
    2.) double-tap the division button to use the slash instead
    We are currently evaluating the option to allow switching the default division button for a slash via settings.

  4. Make the “Q Settings+” menu easier to find

    FEATURE REQ: make the “Q Settings+” menu available through the app options. It is non-obvious how access this menu if “Q = None” is selected. A subtle visual indicator of the tappable zone on the main UI would also be nice. v3.5.22

  5. Hex- need ability to put in a-f

    Need the ability to use values a through f in the hex mode ... To insert a-f for the custom hex function, currently you'd need to use the advanced edit mode in CALC. Just tap and hold the answer area to activate or tap and select the option from the pop-up menu. We will review how to make this process better in a future release :-)

    To insert a-f for the custom hex function, currently you’d need to use the advanced edit mode in CALC. Just tap and hold the answer area to activate or tap and select the option from the pop-up menu. We will review how to make this process better in a future release :-)

  6. BUG: color picker “window” is not modal

    BUG: The color picker “window” (Options ==> Settings ==> Top Colors) should be a modal window. It is possible to re-open the settings when the picker is active. If a 2nd picker window is opened, the original one cannot be dismissed, requiring an app kill+restart. v3.5.22

  10. CALC Keyboard 3D touch to move cursor

    In the keyboard mode - would be nice to have the ability to 3D touch to move the cursor like on the native keyboard...

  11. Quick +/- Tax Calc

    a tax + & - tax key. With this you can set the rate of your local tax (in the UK here VAT @ 20%) and add or subtract this from a figure.

  12. Make Editing long expressions easier

    When editing long expressions that do not fit the screen, it would be nice to have multiple lines or something...

    P.S. you can use the Edit feature or tap-and-hold on the Answer to get into a special multi-line edit mode in the Swift and Premium versions of CALC
