  5. Subcategories

    Adding subcategories would be helpful. For example, “AZ Home” is a main category and I’d have all the categories underneath (eg internet, water & sewer, phone etc) so I can roll up how much “AZ Home” costs me each year.

  8. BUG: color picker “window” is not modal

    BUG: The color picker “window” (Options ==> Settings ==> Top Colors) should be a modal window. It is possible to re-open the settings when the picker is active. If a 2nd picker window is opened, the original one cannot be dismissed, requiring an app kill+restart. v3.5.22

  9. Make the “Q Settings+” menu easier to find

    FEATURE REQ: make the “Q Settings+” menu available through the app options. It is non-obvious how access this menu if “Q = None” is selected. A subtle visual indicator of the tappable zone on the main UI would also be nice. v3.5.22

  10. Division improvements

    1. It would be nice to isolate operations with a horizontal line that separates the numerator and denominator, like the n/d function on TI and Casio calcs

    2. The division symbol feels more mathematical with a rising slash( / ) instead of a horizontal line with dots, which is really an arithmetic symbol, not a math symbol, and just confuses people; see YouTube viral video of 6 ÷ 2 (1+3)

    For a solution, simply use the forward slash, or even better, also allow a n/d function with numerator and denominator, to simplify dimensional analysis for physics and chemistry

    CALC allows to use the rising slash (/) instead of the division symbol via two options:
    1.) tap and hold the division button to create 1/x
    2.) double-tap the division button to use the slash instead
    We are currently evaluating the option to allow switching the default division button for a slash via settings.

    Take into account the timezone of the home location vs. another timezone when traveling to avoid early (or late) auto-processing of transactions.

    a tax + & - tax key. With this you can set the rate of your local tax (in the UK here VAT @ 20%) and add or subtract this from a figure.
